Busan English Theatre Association will present a Shakespeare in the Park production of A Midsummer Night's Dream.

Performance dates are scheduled to be June 10 - 11 and June 17-18 at Dalmaji Amphitheater and Suyeong Amphitheater. The rehearsal schedule will be determined based on the overall cast's availability, but most performers will need to be available on either Saturdays or Sundays in April and May.

To prepare for your audition:
1) Look at the character list (posted below) to see which roles are available. We ask actresses in particular to look at the character list since many of the traditionally male roles will have gender-neutral casting.
2) Familiarize yourself with the scenes (also posted below) listed for the character(s) that you are auditioning for. Auditions pieces do not need to be memorized.
Note: You may be asked to read additional scenes if we want you to read for another character or to assist in listed scenes for the other performers in your time slot.
3) Please sign up for a time slot by commenting on the schedule thread. The limit is 3 people for each time slot.

There are a variety of roles to fill, so we welcome anyone to join regardless of experience!

March 25th will be from 1-4pm at the Suyeong Culture Center on the 5th floor. 

March 26th will be from 12-2:30 at the dance academy in PNU.
