This year for my birthday Nara asked me if I wanted to do anything special like go to a theme park or visit someplace in particular.  We both had a lot going on at the time, so I wanted to just have a simple outing that we both could enjoy quietly in Seoul~ so why not something crafty!?

If you live in Korea you already know very well what Daiso is, and most likely the nearest 5 stores to your home!  For those of you moving to Korea or planning on visiting Korea let me just give you a brief introduction to the giant chain that is Daiso 다이소!

Today I have a really great cocktail bar to share with you nestled down the side streets of Itaewon!  If you are a fan of art, graffiti, rap, skateboarding, and Seoul’s underground scene you will really enjoy the awesome and creative space of  Mixture Experiment!

Aside from the Hello Kitty cafes here in Korea, another popular request for me to visit was one of the several Charlie Brown theme cafes!  That’s right, Korea also has as some official Snoopy cafes!  Sadly though… I seem to have put it off a bit too long!! T_T   We had a large one right by my house in Sillim and I kept saying “next time” for over a year… till this summer when I walked by and was shocked to find the cafe was gone!  Replaced with an Iceberry cafe!!
