national novel writing month

November is half over, and so is National Novel Writing Month.  Thankfully, I am still on schedule and half way to the month’s target of 50,000 words. Most of the time I still can’t believe that I’ve gotten has far as I have, and then at other times I am sure I’ll finish before the November 30th deadline.  I also still get really giddy when I see the bar graph chart of my stats grow with my increasing numbers, as well as when I open up my word document and the page numbers and word count grow really fast as it’s all being added up.

The Most Beautiful Place in Busan

Since NaNoWriMo (or National Novel Writing Month in case acronyms are not your thing) has my head swirling with words,  I will be taking a little break this month from 5 Awesomely Awesome Things.  But since I like having a theme to start the week, I do love a good theme.  I dust off some of my favorite photos and share some of the beautiful places I have been lucky enough to visit.

An Announcement

I’ve been mulling this over for the past two weeks, and I finally decided to take the plunge and commit.  This November, I am participating in National Novel Writing Month- or NaNoWriMo for short.  Basically this means I am going to attempt to write an entire novel in 30 days.  It’s going to be hard, it might be completely crazy, and I will probably be a hermit for the majority of November; but, it’s a challenge that I am sacredly excited for. The being scared part comes in waves, I’m still not sure if I can do it, but I’m going to try.
