Gmarket Finds!

As I mentioned before, I LOVE Gmarket! I was never at all an internet shopper before I came to Korea, but wow- now I definitely am! I would even say that Gmarket is one of my favourite things about Korea, haha!

This page will list products I’ve found on Gmarket that I use, or I think are a good price.

Fish and Coconut Cream Soup

I love soup.. especially anything with a coconut base!

And now that the weather is chillier, I find myself seeking out warmer meals.

{Vegan} Chocolate Mousse Cake

A dark chocolate cake with a crunchy biscuit base and smooth textured filling. There is a subtle hint of coffee and orange which balances the creamy chocolate taste perfectly. You can serve it chilled as a mousse cake or barely thawed as a chocolate ‘cheesecake’.

Coconut – Lemon Cake

This cake has an enticing combination of tangy, bright lemon and irresistible chewy shredded coconut, made extra moist with plenty of coconut milk. It’s so much better than your regular chocolate cake.

I must confess that I didn’t make this myself. It was a surprising birthday gift from boyfriend who shuffled through all my recipe books to find something delectable which was compatible with the anorexic state of the fridge. So here’s the recipe;

Yield: 10 people          Time: 1 hour 30 minutes

Coconut Macaroons

Oh my word these are good. Seriously simple to make, these biscuits take about 40 minutes including cooking time. You may vary the recipe by adding some cocoa to the dry ingredients or for a super sugar hit, dip the macaroons in melted chocolate once they’ve cooled. They will keep for a week, if they last the night.

                          Yield: 16 cookies    Time: 40 minute
