Guesthouse COOOOL: A Grown-Up Hostel on Haeundae Beach

Once a hostel fanatic, I've found myself disliking them more and more as I get older. I'm no longer up for the late night partying I once enjoyed in my younger days, and I much more prefer a clean, comfortable and private space to grimy communal ones. Of course, because I travel frequently, I do appreciate a good deal, but budget accommodations that don't compromise these aforementioned qualities aren't so easy to find.

Design Your Modern Heritage Wedding at Conrad Seoul

As tourism continues to grow here in Seoul, so do the reasons for it. In the recent past, tourists from all corners of the globe have made the trek to Korea to experience its traditional and pop culture, delicious food and fantastic shopping facilities. But over the past year or so, more and more international couples are making their way to the Korean capital to say their vows.

Attracted by the sophisticated styles and romantic surroundings portrayed in Korean films and dramas, love birds throughout Asia, and even as far as the Americas, are deciding to say, "I do" in the swanky wedding halls and hotel ballrooms of the Korean capital.

Travel, as we know it, is constantly changing and evolving. Now, more than ever before, we have the opportunity to not only explore faraway lands, but to do so on a much deeper level, and in a more convenient fashion.

One website that is particularly helpful in ensuring travelers have the best experience possible is Airbnb, an online marketplace that connects users with local residents to locate and share accommodations.

In their latest video marketing campaign, they demonstrate how their services work by giving users a window seat view on an animated train as it makes its way around the globe. And anyone who has ever traveled by train knows that the coveted widow seat offers an unrivaled, up-close-and-personal view of the journey and all the pretty places along the way. Unsurprisingly, Airbnb offers many of the same benefits.

Comfort and Cuisine with a View at Sheraton Seoul D Cube City Hotel

They say location is everything. But is it really?

Situated on the western edge of the Korean capital, Sheraton Seoul D Cube City may not be the most conveniently located hotel for tourists and travelers in Korea, but it is not without its charms. I was able to experience its superb amenities, culinary specialties and unrivaled views firsthand when I was invited to stay for an evening last month.

A Luxurious Staycation at Conrad Seoul

In recent years, Seoul has seen a dramatic increase in the number of accommodations offered throughout the city. With so many choices, finding the right place to stay can seem daunting to tourists, business travelers and even expats. For those seeking opulence without compromising location, Conrad Seoul, the luxury brand of Hilton Worldwide, is the perfect choice.

Although not a tourist, I occasionally treat myself to a staycation in the city- an opportunity to escape the monotony of everyday life and to recharge my batteries. After a recent chaotic week of work and ridiculously long hours, I knew one was in order and the rave reviews of the Conrad had me curious. As I took the short drive from the center of the city toward the Yeouido business district, the mere sight of the hotel's gleaming black exterior towering over the Han River put me at ease.
